Check out what I found! Jon's book, titled "Bull Fighter." Fighting the BS from the corporate world. Why Business People Speak Like Idiots: A Bullfighter's Guide: Brian Fugere, Chelsea Hardaway, Jon Warshawsky: 9780743269094: Amazon.com: Books
Haven't been on here a lot lately so I just saw this. I am very saddened to hear this. I did not always agree with with Jon about certain car-related things, but I would definitely never wish this on anyone. It is terrible that we live in a world where people think they are above the law and try to drink and drive. I hope he makes a full recovery and somehow manages to turn this awful situation into a positive one. Going to include him in my prayers.
.....just seeing this.....my thoughts and prayers are with Jon and my deepest sympathy to the loss of his girlfriend. Just terrible. Anthony
I cling to this thread every day, hoping to hear from Bullfighter Jon himself. Hoping and preying he responds, "Hi guys, I'm going to be okay." I really am waiting patiently to hear we can all stop holding our collective breath and breathe again.
Jay, My thoughts exactly. I pray he makes a full recovery and my heart goes out to his girlfriend Amanda's family.
I didn't know Jon, but checking this site almost every day. Prayers continuing for Jon's full recovery. Anxiously awaiting hopefully some good new.s Pcar (and 356) guy here.
I'm currently competing in a tarmac rally and printed this up. One of the 356 boys was happy to oblige Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
Just found this thread. I balled my eyes out when i saw the picture of Amanda and her boys. I will donate when i get to my office today. Get well Jon.
I've been trying to come up with something to post on my Speedster for Jon. He sure loves these cars- as do we. Jon and I would pm back and forth about the smallest attention to details about our speedsters.
Not to put light on here Pat,can you say g'day to Ian for me. He has a beautiful 330 GTC,hence his sticker and inclusion on here.
Update from Jon's dad: "Jon is now scheduled to leave the intensive care unit of Sharp Memorial Hospital and move into the general hospital population for at least two weeks, after which he will go into a rehab facility for physical therapy." I will ask when it will be ok for Jon to see visitors. It is a slow process as I'm sure you all can imagine. He is getting better each day. I will try to get another update soon. I had a group contact me today that have checks to send to Jon for support. They are from the copper coin collectors that he was president of in the past. Seems like all groups are coming together to help him out. That was just great to see the vinyl sticker on the porsche in the photo from down under... Robb
Wow! I haven't been around for a bit and I read this. I hope Jon has a speedy recovery. My deepest sympathy for Amanda's family.
Thanks for the update Robb, good to hear him turning a corner. I cringe at asking this question, but is he aware of the outcome for Amanda ? how has her family been holding up, specifically the boys , anyone know ?
Same here. I guess we all do. Can't grasp the idea of having to lose my lovely Karin, let alone the thought of not beïng able to "say goodbye" to her.
My understanding is that the family is holding up as well as can be expected. Several people at Fullerton College have organized a meal train to deliver food so the family doesn't have to worry about that for now. I know they are extremely appreciative of all the support they're getting through the fund and all the other kind words, but they're also just trying to lay low. Contributions to the fund have slowed over the last couple of days. It hit 29,000, which we're extremely grateful for. https://www.gofundme.com/amandawalzer
Been following and hoping for some positive news (aside from the generosity of those on here, of course). Seeing that Jon is progressing, however slowly, is some of the good news I was hoping for. Hope the progress continues.
