(Denver) Ferrari Spotters!!!!

Jeez, that intersection of Colfax/Broadway is sketchy at best...lots of odd-ball people and some of the worst pot holes in the metro area. That was a brave soul...or they were lost.

 

I know you're not serious. That car is fake and a horrible one that that. It's a fiero. It's a shame they let him have that plate. That guy should be ashamed of himself.

 

Yeah, taking a nice drive downtown is pretty much impossible. I've pretty much written it off as an option. Too many potholes and uneven roads.

How many (real) F40's are there in the metro area?

Two in the metro area and four in Colorado.

 

My apologies. It was pretty dark and I have only seen a couple of F40s in real life. Next time I'll try to focus more on the fake car next to me than the road in front of me.

Actually there are 3 real F40s in the metro area, not 2, and 5 in Colorado. Rare sights for sure.

 

I suppose that explains the four exhaust pipes

Orange Lamborghini Diablo SV? Today on Quebec headed south near County Line. I don't know my Lambos, but it was a beautiful car.

 

I think saw a 599 GTO driving west on I-70 in the foothills this afternoon. I just caught a glimpse of it and I believe it was a red 599 with a charcoal black roof so I'm guessing it was a 599 GTO.

Dont feel bad Sketch. Sherpa yelled at me once for sending him a photo (while I was driving) in Hawaii where I thought I saw a 250 GTO. I only got a good look from the back, but of course, Sherpa's trained eyes spotted it as the kit for the Datsun.

I'm not afraid to admit it. And yes Sherpa, the owners of these fakes should be ashamed!

Silver 246 Dino east bound on Ken Caryl turning north bound on to Wadsworth about 4:30 pm yesterday. Nice to see a Dino out on the streets.

Saw a dark red Aventador SV on Evans just east of University this morning at about 9:15. The color ALMOST made it look subtle.

Also been seeing what appears to be a red 348 with the strakes removed. Anyone know the car? Is that what it is?

Tesla Model X P90D on Speer - not 'exotic' perhaps, but it was the first I've seen in the wild and the guy was having some fun light to light. Was in my girlfriends Mini and didn't stand a chance keeping up.

Just moved to Denver and can't believe the number of R8s I'm seeing nearly daily. I guess people love their Audis here.

Saw a 2000-20002 Rolls Royce Corniche V on Broadway, just north of Evans this morning. Literally had to do a triple-take to realize it wasn't a Bentley.

 

No kidding was driving downtown Denver on Sat and the potholes were beating the crap out of my Silverado 4X4.

I spotted the "F40" today downtown sitting in a parking lot...I think it was 22nd/Curtis. Anyways, I scrambled for my phone so I could text Sherpa a pic and ask him what he was doing in that neck of the woods but the light turned green. ;-)

 

Hahaha. I would have sent you Dave's picture of his Datsun "250 GTO" and said I'm cruising in that to shake it down before I send it to auction in Monterey where it's going to sell for jillions.
