    Background:
My Scuderia has a "fully finished" front trunk which basically means it has nylon/fabric all around the insides and on the bottom; no bare metal/aluminum/carbon/etc. is showing. As you stand in the middle of the car at the front bumper, looking toward the rear of the car, there is an area on the upper right vertical plain of the trunk, drivers side (see pictures attached), which is beginning to "hang" off the inside wall of the car. Looks like it might have originally been glued or clipped, but I cannot determine where to re-fasten the loose, hanging part. And it's driving me crazy! ;)

    Ask:
Can you check your Scuderia/430 and see if you have a similar cover, and see how it fastens (snugly) against the vertical plain of the trunk? And how it fastens?

    Pictures:
Two (2) pictures, each with and without my drawings. :D Trying to show where the "hanging" is happening, and where the fasteners I do see are not part of the solution.

    Thanks!!!
    Dan

07 430, The rear of the cover "part closest to the driver" has a small tab that fits into a slot. Toward the front of the cover is a small lever that is used to remove and then again to secure the cover back in place. This piece can be removed and reinstalled in a matter of seconds. Hope this helps.

My Scud has the exact same issue. It appears the material that forms the cover has bent slightly not allowing the tab to seat properly.

On second picture where the finger pointed at that flare needs to clip in the panel.

Mine has the flair, it just doesn't seem to want to hold it in place. I think I just need some more time to take a better look and see why.

Took a look last night and sure enough, I have the "flair." To be fair, the flair (too much rhyming ? ;) ) appears to be a fabric covered, cardboard protrusion from the rest of the cover. And it doesn't "clip" into place as much as "wedge" itself in the small, vertical slot left for it in the other piece which is bending out.... this flair, and the rest of the "bending" piece it is attached too, stays in place by pressing against the other piece - opposing force/pressure/friction (don't know what to call it) keeps it in place.

Anyway, it looks better now (no hanging/sagging) even though it's not as good as a solution as I would have hoped for.

Thank you to all who posted here - it helped! :) :)
