I'm having the 928 SC installed (finally!) on my Qv by a reputable shop in NJ. During the course of looking it over they found a worn bushing in the steering rack causing quite a bit of slop. The long and short of it is the bushing they need to replace "is inside the rack and keeps the rod from the pinion centered in the tube." They were not aware of any vendor who sells the bushing but I thought I would give it a try with the crew here before I had them fabricate it. Any thoughts?

The bushing for the Pantera can be adapted for use in a Mondial manual rack, which I believe is the same as the 328's. It's only about $40, & it's made of brass (not POS plastic which was the original design). PM me if you need details.

Thanks for the quick replies. I shot them over a picture of the bush from Superformance.

I also have a Pantera so maybe I should take it from there. ;-)
