Maybe if we add something vertical in the middle, it may not look too open mouth like the LaFerrari.:)

The US bumpers are too long, but I really like the stock black US grille hidden below the bumper. To my eye, the Pininfarina curves are accentuated when the grille is almost invisible.

I took the factory bottom grill slat as a template and stacked aluminum sheets 6 deep. Used a bandsaw to follow the template so 'sweep' is correct. Then made 7 vertical supports out of said aluminum. Cut slots into the risers (just like factory original ones) and connected them with a small punch on both sides (again, just like Ferrari did). I then trimmed the top two slats for the turn signals. Took a few hours, but was inexpensive (surplus aluminum was the only cost.. about $40). Here is another pic (it does look a lot better in 'real life' .vs. the picture.)

Don't get Me wrong, it looks incredibly well made, but at the same time it just looks like there's too much grille from an aesthetic point of view.

Maybe it's because I am too used to the standard Euro 308 GTB/GTS bumpered cars, but the front of your car screams: "something is missing!" to Me.

That's just My 2 cents on the subject, all that really matters is that you like it - Have your car how you want it, not how others say it should be! :)

A bit too monolithic for my tastes. I would prefer it broken up somewhat with some fog / driving lights cut into it. If done cleanly, I think that type of a setup could look really sharp.

That looks better to me --- with at least the parking lights set into the large grille. Nice job !

But still a bit too much continuous expanse of grille area for me.
