    I am currently trying to restore some history about a 308 GTB US spec sold a year ago in Germany on auction. The series number is 30579 and with the car comes a handful of documents from the delivery to the second owner, having also the delivery sheet - photos below. Car spent some time in Michigan, then it reappears in 2007 in California. According to the auction house which sold the car, it was owned by one family although names differ and the auction house cant provide more information. Given the tachometer was changed and the low mileage of the car - 8500 only - I hope to be original, I also thought ferrarichat might be of certain help.

    in the newspaper clipping I can't see that well, but It looks like it says 246 its for $36,000
