Hi all, Looking for part numbers for Gates/Dayco or other manufacturer belts for Alternator and A/C belts For my 328. Regards
Gates Poly belts, BUT the Ferrari metric sizes are not in the automotive line. They are not automotive, but from the HVAC line. I posted in there where I found them, should be about $15 each Radnor International, something like that....
Great thanks for the heads up. There is a few part numbers in the beginning of that thread, but I will look for your post instead. Thanks again Regards
Glad to help! Cleaning the apartment, if I run acrosss the paperwork I'll report back. But Google onto the gates Polybelt line and look for distributors once you find your sizes.... I may have a three belt set in all my tool rolls I will look for those too!!! Early cars had only two belts, going to three, about the QV engine.
It was crazy being in my local Auto parts house, the guy is top notch on the books, and he could find the numbers HAVING them in his hand!!!
FOUND IT!!!! Gates Polybelts are distributed by Radwell International Inc 1 800 332 4336 The alternator belt for the early two belt systems is a #7M975 This is just from the Packing Slip, so no pricing but around $16 each..... Call Micheal Edoff, at Ex. 1174 Or it looks like his email is: [email protected] Thank me later....come dance at my wedding, and so forth and so on......
The one that's expensive for the 328 is the AC belt because, needless to say, I don't think it cross-references or is used by anything else.
If you have the Gates #, try these guys!!! Seriously.....they have an International number 609 288-9393 Point is, NONE of these metric belts cross to "anything else".......
