If someone is looking for a 2+2 Ferrari, for similar $$$$ I reckon this would be much better proposition than a tired GT4. For a start the interior looks new.. https://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/2016-shannons-melbourne-autumn-classic-auction/L1E0992O63ONND0E/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just some trivia, the 412 and the 328 share the same Heater switches, which are NLA and quite rare and expensive to buy..
But.. but... it's a slushbox - OK, a timewarp car - any idea of estimate? As for timeless chiseled styling - that went out of fashion in about 5 minutes. Of the 2 doors of that style ( 365/400, Lancia Gamma, Fiat 130) only the Lancia has stood the test of time (IMO). That said, a wonderfully original (apparently) car that will give someone a lot of ownership pleasure, I'm sure - concours potential?
Well, that at 80k or a Alfa 105 at 100k? I know what I'd prefer, slushbox or not... Lot to be said for unfashionable 2+2s.
Sounds like someone who would buy this instead 1990 Ferrari Mondial t Manual Convertible, 79,663 km indicated Auction (0006-5018473) | GraysOnline Australia M
but seriously, you'd have to be pretty damn confused to wake up in the morning thinking "I can't decide if I'd rather buy a 308GT4 or some front engine V12 auto". They're a completely different experience...different market. Doesn't make sense to even consider them together. What's next? Should I buy a Tesla or a Mack truck?
The point was for the same money as a ratty looking GT4 you could have a really nice looking 412 auto. Sure they are a different driving experience, but someone looking at an entry level GT4 is already contemplating a 2+2 , so why not consider a 412 ?
I know mate, maybe I should list it online for $160K and see how many bites I get. Image Unavailable, Please Login
