    Hi Kinnie,
it was a great pleasure to have you and the family over. It certainly boosted my lack of F vitamines ;-).
I really was impressed with the way the Valeo works and performes, it was a learning experience..
Talk to you soon again on the trip planned.
    Little deja-vue :-D

Here is Dante all cleaned up on Saturday evening and ready to go back into the garage for the Sunday rally. Unfortunately, all the work was quickly trashed by wet muddy back roads Sunday morning. Oh well, the drive was great anyway. And it gave my windshield wipers and washer a bit of a workout. And now back to the garage to do the wash all over again. Labors of love.

The smile stays every time you turn the key ;) Congrats on your first kilometers! Did you do an engine out like you planned?

It's still on our list (Bart and me) to pay a visit and visit the oldtimer farm as well. I think you have the most unique Mondial combo. How is it going with this beauty?

He looks really nice Gerald! Dante, named after the Italian poem writer or a place in the US?

Like how you live in the most beautiful country in the world and then take a pic at the local gritting and gravel department. :D Top work on the Mrs having matching outfit.

Certainly after the poet. My first 6 months with the car were continuing nightmare decents into even darker circles of hell. Its Italian, and inferno is red. So what else would work?

We always named our cars growing up in the US. Actually, they seem to name themselves. But for whatever reason in our family, our cars always have guy names.

Nice work Mike. Lime green is outstanding! Literally I must say in a positive way!

It is :) I smell it!
It has no side tilt windows. I never understood why they never made this for the kit. Maybe even better this way to keep them apart..

Very nice Mondial in that Grigio. Mine ('82 US model s/n 40985) is with blue interiour. Do you have any interiour shots from yours.
Would you share the VIN for my database? By PM if you prefer.

Thanks - I love the colour!

Funnily enough I had a lecture from another Ferrari F430 owner recently, who was claiming "Aren't all Ferrari's red??" and also "look at photos of mine plus the others at Ferrari UK annual club meeting!" - all did happen to be red in the photos....

I know the Mondial is not the prettiest of cars, but it's still a Ferrari. You can pick your friends but not your family sprung to mind! :) LOL

Here's some photos of my car interior.

I have to disagree also. I think the Mondial has a very purposeful look, albeit a bit masculine. So if not pretty, it certainly is handsome! :)

    Regards,
    Jerry

As we owners know, these cars for whatever reason don't photograph well. Here is a few photos of cars from members that are among my favorite.

    Ben Collins 8?
    Bill Lockwood's QV
    ??? 3.2

I don't know how anybody can look at any of these photos and say these cars are not gorgeous!

I now it's subjective and if I'm in the minority....boy am I glad I am...probably wouldn't have able to afford it otherwise!!!

    :)
