I had an oil temp sensor start to fail (at least I hope that is what it is!) so I sprung for some more garage tools to make the swap easy. Figured I would start a thread for those of you who have been looking for a minimum setup for undertray removal. I bought some race ramps in the 8" size to get the rear tires up in a safe manor and be able to remove the under tray from my 360.

It was the first time I had the tray off so I wanted to do it right and "tooled up" for the task. I wasn't sure which Race Ramps to get since they come in three different sizes but then I remembered how nervous I get when I am jacking up the Ferrari and decided to try the shortest ones "Race Ramps RR-WC-8-2 8". Turns out these are perfect for use with my new aluminum jack stands too! For double the safety!

The great part about these ramps is that you can jack the car up so the first wheel is high enough to slip in one of the ramp parts and then go to the other side and jack it up the full height for the 2 ramp parts. Then return to the other side and jack and install the last part to be up to height. If you are like me you get uncomfortable manhandling the car to full height all at once and this is the perfect solution.

With the ramps installed I was able to remove the undertray using a cordless drill motor and bit in short order. In hind sight the 10" Race Ramps "might" be a better solution to allow some more adjustment in the metal jack stands but this setup worked very well.

Key is the 10.25 high jack stands. Since I always use a hockey puck on top I prefer to get as low of stands as I can find. OTC 1582 2-Ton Aluminum Jack Stand

I got some Raceramps (recommended by several Fchatters) last year that have the removable ramp, then you chock the wheel. I had used Rhinoramps in the past, but being able to remove the ramp part, and the extra 2" lift makes a useful difference on the undertray removal.
