A friend of mine is purchasing a car next week from a dealership in Washington State and he's looking for a good carrier to bring it to Philadelphia, any suggestion would be appreciated.

Try calling Ferrari of Seattle or Ron Tonkin in Portland and see if they are getting any shipments in soon. Could be a truck heading back east that needs some cargo. Whoever they use would be reputable.

I just used Plycars to get my 360 from Columbus OH to eastern North Dakota. Good price (less than some sponsors here) and delivered earlier than estimated arrival! Would use again.

I used them about six months ago to move two of my Ferraris from Utah to LA. Competitive price, and they took good care of my cars. I will use them again for sure.

There are very regular shipping threads all over this site plus a specialist sponsor in Intercity - you might get some ideas from a quick search on their name

I'm sure intercity does a fine job, but I've found that it's worth getting multiple quotes. Plycar has always given me the best price, and they do a great job.

Thank you for the responses, my friend ended up using Road Runner transport. I've never heard of them but $1700 for enclosed cross country seems like a great price.

Funny. My car just shipped from FoS Friday via plycar. I hope it gets here soon in the shape it left.

Before you reach them hang tight as I am just learning about a complete cluster F in dealing with them... For example sitting on the car for almost a week before letting me know - only because I reached out and now finding out they don't have a truck...

I used VIP auto transport. Was a little slow (over 2 weeks coast to coast) but otherwise good price and easy to deal with. I do think they dispatch to independent truckers who lease their trailers though. But no damage on the car and the trucker I got had plenty of experience with other exotics.
