Ferrari Owners Club NW Region

I participated regularly and enjoyed it for quite a few years. Woulda been north of 10 years in now if I'd kept it up I think. I wouldn't be averse to joining again it just hasn't been a priority for me. Met some great folks who I would like to think I'll be at least casual friends with for years to come. Several of them posting right here on this page.

 

One trip to a dealer for service will more than offset the annual dues.

 

Ditto here. I dropped out because I prioritized work on the house.
I still have the TR but haven't been doing anything with it.
I've thought about selling it but haven't had the time to mess with it lately.

 

Actually I've always done all the work myself, but good to know.

 

I've been meaning to join again but pretty busy with work...

after a long club hiatus, i rejoined about a year ago. i'm not really sure why other than i like to read the newsletters. for some reason i found it somewhat hard to break into the cliques -- both there and also at e@rtc. i'm not saying people are unfriendly or anything of the sort. i think really just many of the cliques have been together for along time and i have found them somewhat hard to break into.

many years ago i went to a few events - did a few drives etc, and it was a lot of fun, but again, i was looking for more a social experience that i didn't really find. i went to the australian granprix party at fos and found mostly the same thing - lots of people - but not much socializing outside of the 'preset' groups.

without a doubt, the very best experience i had so far was the ferrari rally down in oregon maybe some ten years ago or so. that was 100% fun and amazing and great. i have found the groups at racetracks are way more easy to talk to while not driving around. i'll be taking my favorite oldest son to mont tremblant in june, so it'll be interesting to see if the experience is the similar.

 

Kevin, you're welcome to join any clique that I belong to at NWRFCA and E@RTC. Not that you'd WANT to, but you would be welcome

Hell yes Kevin...and sorry I didn't see you at the FoS event. I would have chatted it up with you...I think the last time I saw you was some spontaneous drive off the local chat email list and you came out in the F50...that was eons ago...
