I bet the torque is interesting

 

It does has a lot of instant torque. When we had the 3x8 gathering Hutch the owner brought that electric 308 GTE and gave me a ride and for what I can remember, if he doesn't take it easy on the accelerator pedal, he will burn rubber real fast. It is super quick and fast.

 

Just needs the digital sound of a 308 engine added with speakers where the exhausts used to be

 

BMW does this (somewhat) by adding engine noise to the stereo (i.e. coming from the inside speakers)... But that's for the benefit of the driver...

 

This is the enemy of our hobby and should not be celebrated.

 

I was thinking the same...but only so far as it doesn't somehow accelerate our cars becoming illegal. If it happens anywhere it will be The Peoples Democratic Republic of California.
