Amazing how much smaller the vintage car is compared to the modern. Is all that size really necessary?

 

295/305 tires on the rear and a big V12/tranny in the middle probably needs some space

 

Yesterday evenings snow is going to keep them inside for a bit.

Let's hope not for long and get to see these cars in the wild this summer. Everyone was jumping the shark on spring service

Saw this get on the 400 and hwy 7 yesterday. First one I've seen on the road.

They are actually a decent size, plenty of elbow room in the engine bay in the vintage.

The sizes are proportional large and smaller in different areas for both cars.

You must have been on the highway the same time as me then as I saw the same one.


Btw I did have an i8 last year, sold it, but still can get possession of it for a meet or 2.

 

That car was silent and just zipped right by us.

The only one I saw was a few years back at the Marques d'elegance show in Burlington on the grass, it was a black one and it looked fantastic. This white one was the first one I've seen on the road. What a great looking design, and looked sinister on road.

If you get one for a drive this summer, I would love to see one again at a car show.Great design by BMW and a step in the right direction for there future car designs.

the service facility I take my cars in for there spring once over and annual oil change. Seemed appropriate to park right beside it.

Hi Salar, not mine, was in the middle of swapping cars for service the last few weeks.

My favorite picture is still this one from a few weeks ago when I dropped off my gtb. Think I will blow it up for my office.
