    The long way home
The owner of the Lambo dealership has owned (/collected) many ultra-low mile Lamborghinis, but does not own the cars in your links.

That's why I said guessing. But in general there is a few owners of dealership in Canada, both franchise and used who keep a prime example of something. Either a car offered to them or they order it new and put it away. Its very common in the car business.

ok. but the factory puts the miles on the car as part of the vetting process.

Since after 25 years or older a car no longer needs DOT and EPA to be imported, Canada is the same except its 15 years or older. What's the difference between Euro spec and American/Canadian spec? Seeing how the SV is importable easily into Canada and soon the U.S. as well.

I've noticed on Euro specs that are more powerful, have nicer bumpers, etc. Once they hit that 25 years old mark, they seem to get a premium.

    "SV" stands for "super veloce"

Right around 3rd series, short run, called the "SE" which was intended as a 30th anniversary model. "Special" bodywork, 525 bhp. Only 150 were made so it wouldn't count
as a full series. Other than the spoiler, I can't distinguish other bodywork. The color maybe?

The most expensive Diablo was the "GT" and only 80 were produced.

I'm referencing Winston Goodfellow's numbers on this. The other Diablo model I'm curious about is the odd "Jota" which I can't get clear if it was a factory or owner package.

    For what it's worth.

    Quite the contrary, the "SE" is a purpose built car and entirely completely unique from any Diablo built;

    -Limited Edition of 150

    -Magnesium Lightweight Wheels

    -Lightweight Carbon Fiber body panels

-Stripped down interior appointments now revealing raw exposed carbon fiber paneling

    -Race Style Fuel Filler

-Unique Front Bumper with prominent Lamborghini badge

    -Unique Rear Bumper

    -Unique Front Hood

    -Unique Side Skirts

    -Unique Carbon Fiber Rear Bonnet

    -Unique Carbon Fiber Rear Wing

    -Adjustable Suspension

-Adjustable Sway Bar with Mechanism in the Interior compartment

    -Unique Racing steering wheel

    -Racing Seat Belts

    -Racing Brakes

    -Racing flywheel

    -Intakes

-Lightweight Seats made from Carbon Fiber

    -Limited Edition Numbered Badging

    -Unique Shift Knob

    -Lightened Crank

    -Unique Flywheel

    -SE Specification ECU

-SE unique oiling and oil cooling system,

    -SE Specific Cams

    -SE Specific Pistons

-SE unique intakes with larger intake valves

I disagree quite a bit based on my reading.

A picture would have been much better. This isn't a contest. I'm just researching trying to find out the differences, which I think I have.

There are TWO versions of the Diablo SE 30th Anniversary cars, both based on the Diablo, so the "completely different" thing is really describing a race car, as is your list.

One is a "regular" 30th Anniversary, with....well....still studying..

The car you described is the 30th Anniversary "JOTA" of which only 28 of those 150 were made, and intended for BPR FIA GT racing. I can't find a picture.

28 Jota kits were produced, 12 installed at the LIE, 14 sold to customers, 2 remained at the factory as spares.

The regular SE30 must be the purple car in the above picture then.

I'm still looking for more versions/differences/sources, story subject to adjustment.

No, I am describing a "regular" SE30. Jota is a completely different animal. Do the research.

I did do the research, and am continuing to do so. Just telling someone "nope, isn't it," doesn't clarify jack.

The list you put out there corresponds to the 28 factory installed packages for the 1995 SE30, i.e. Jota. It's clearly a racing kit, virtually every other line is "racing," so that much is obvious.

If that is not a Jota, then maybe you could explain what a Jota is then?

Picture of the 28 SE30 racing packages.

The only diffrence of the Jota version and a standard SE is the "Ram Air" scoops affixed to the rear engine.

It terms of clarification I am attaching the original Press Release from Lamborghini in 1993. Also, please find the SE30 Thread very useful.

Boom goes the dynomite! I think he just dropped the bomb on you Duane. :) you don't question a guy named Supercarguru.

But on the bright side he just provided you with a whole lot of information for your "research"

But if you want to keep talking about SE why don't you go start another dedicated thread and people can add info for your research this is a thread for Diablo SV so let's not derail it.

Not 100% correct, The JOTA cars, as you state correctly, there were 28 kits produced and shipped out with the cars..HOWEVER only approx 19 were ever installed on the cars. There are still a few "Jota" kits out there in collections with the SE car it came with.

The differences were a few, such as a higher KM Speedometer, as well as it was NOT JUST the scoops. There were different intakes on top of the fuel plenum as well as they received different cams as well as a different oil based air filter cleaner.

I know this because I BOUGHT the LAST JOTA kit from the Factory direct several years back. It was delivered in the Lamborghini Factory crate. I then had it installed on a SE30 car, Purple in color. It was done by Steve from Driven Exotics - The Lamborghini Specialists.

I sold it a few years back to a collector on the East coast. After that, a member here was able to locate another JOTA kit, purchased it and had it installed as well on his Purple SE30 by Steve from the same company. He also owns a standard SE30 in the same color as well as multiple other Lambos in his collection.

There are TWO USA JOTA cars here in the USA. NONE of the original 25 USA cars were ever fitted with or sold with the JOTA kit from the Factory.

I can tell you, after driving both of those cars with their JOTA kit complete and dialed in...they were a handful to say the least...as is the 99/00 Diablo GT cars, which I own car #74 a 2000 of that series, a handful as well.

    Wrong thread for this!
But to explain some differences between a stock SE30 and a SE30 JOTA:

    -engine bonnet
-some had a rear JOTA badge (6 of 28 cars)
    -hot cams
-different airintake with 4x throttle bodys (instead of 2)
    -carbonfiber airintake funnel
-enginebay housing panels to close the airfilterbody units from the regular SE30 (air comes only from the 2 scoops, not like SE30)
    -400km/h speedo
-open exhaust with different butterfly valves position

I drove around 2000km Diablo SE30 Jota and have alot of datas like parts manual and a private register to track every car.

    Best Regards,
    Leo

No my friend. Do you homework before confuse other people here.

During Miura prodution is not 100% clarrified, but "Spinto Veloce"
During Diablo SV production it is "Sport Veloce"
Later on for Murcielago and Aventator "Super Veloce"

So nice of you you to post all that up.

    Apparently I missed the bomb.

That is dated in 1993. A description of the SE, nice description.

I'll post something for you now, from a widely published authority on Italian sports cars, Winston Goodfellow.

"Lamborghini offered an optional Jota engine package that was available only to owners of the limited-production Diablo SE. Thanks to it's air-induction system and other modificaitons, it pushed power output to more than 550 horsepower. Just 14 customers chose the Jota option."

The Jota was an optional package on the SE, all converted from the Diable SE. Same as before.

You said before that the Jota was a "completely different animal."

The only point that I was making was concerning the SE.

Puuuh. Don´t believe everything in the Lamborghini world.

SE30 came in production in 1994 and the last cars were finished in late 1995.
    (as far as i know)

In 1995 the Jota package was available as an option for SE30 cars.
In Germany the Jota kit cost alone around 60.000 Mark from new.
So some 1995 SE30 (+/- 14cars) were delivered from factory with Jota kit. So this is a "SE30 Jota" factory fitted. But some owners who bought their cars in 1994 (when the Jota kit wasn´t available) also wanted the Kit so the factory sold it as Kit to their customers.
Some cars came to factory to install the Kit later on. Other customers never fitted the Kit to their cars. In 2012 the factory had still 2 Jota kits stored which were sold both to USA.
Now installed on #004 and #025.

When John says different animal, than he don´t speak about a complete different car but about the performance difference.
The Diablo SE30 JOTA is a wild bull which isn´t easy to drive. It´s unbelieveable fast and more a 6.00 AM sunday morning car. The performance between stock SE30 and SE30 Jota is complete different world.

    Regards

The CF wing was definately an option from factory. My SV has a clear CF wing, so you could choose between paint or clear coat. For the wheels i´m not 100% certain but i think yes.
At this time you could choose what you want from every model.
