Appreciated. Most of the credit goes to Jagbuff whom added the rims and a few key aftermarket upgrades like the Ron Davis radiator. She's been a great car.
She always gets washed and detailed every month in Vegas... Then when I get home she gets washed again, you think i'm pampering my 70k miles car ???? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Short video (2nd one) I recently put on YouTube with a couple recent drivebys in my F 456 GT six-speed. It's taken a year, but the car is well sorted out now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhOZ1dA4Wdw Also, saw this more professional video of a 456M GT uploaded to YouTube in April. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1hK8uN3jXk
Bill, thought I care about my car by dry washing it after each drive.... But you are caring even more… Saluti, Jürgen
Yes Jürgen, I do love my car, each month when I drive to Las Vegas I drop it off at the dealer, besides having it washed and waxed I have them check everything.... I drive them crazy always saying check all the fluids, they laugh at me but they do a wonderful job looking after my car knowing that I am going to be driving back to Los Angeles through the desert. This is one of my favorite pictures taken on Mulholland Highway. Cheers, Bill Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good story! I bet you would love Dave's cruise control as much as I do! (If you don't already have a cruise!) I went through the desert from Sacramento to Miami in my XK8 when the CC did not want to co-operate... Then I thought about the 550 which at that time did not have a cc. After that I got it on the 550 and it works superb! Just my thoughts....
Unfortunately I don't have Dave's cruise control, (I know it's great!) But being the least mechanical guy on this site i'm always afraid of messing around with something I don't understand especially when it has to do with electronics. I'm sure I could have had one of my technicians put it in for me, but I'm so used to driving without Cruise control that it really doesn't bother me that much cheers,
That is a great picture Bill! Ferrari brochure quality for sure..even better because you're in it! My center caps are doing great, thanks again for your generosity. My 550 is alive and well

" Hello, Some time ago I attempted to discover a straightforward method/kit, whatever, of installing a cruise-control on the 550. There was someone here selling a kit but that party had stopped delivering them. Has something new come along in the last year or so that I've missed? Thanks, All! I'm also somewhat dismayed to discover (I think) that the F430, my next Ferrari purchase, did not seem to have an option for cruise control. ~Troyce 1998 550 Eastern TN USA
Ferraridriver (Dave) had one kit left some time ago. I would just go for that. A 200k car without a cc.... Crazy.
Mottomechanica Do they still do the Tuesday night get together at Marda Loop or has the venue changed? I went last week on a rare night off and was disappointed to see a parking lot full of Toyota's and Chevy's.
Spotted in the paddock the Spa Classic this weekend. Even (maybe especially) in the company of glamerous ancestors a Maranello looks just right ! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
