That's what alcohol free beer will do to you!

Beer?.......With no alcohol? - The Human brain can't handle it!

Let this be a warning kids! :p

    +1 ;)

Was in Stockholm years back when the English football team came to play. As usual, bought a ton of fans with them. These guys were stoked that they could buy beer in the supermarkets - Pretty sure it wasn't possible back in the UK back then. What they couldn't figure out was why they weren't getting a "buzz" - Had to explain it was very, very low alcohol & you can only buy the real stuff in the state controlled liquor stores. And they weren't easy to find, particularly without a car.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Just uploaded everything to whatsapp, so will do same to here in a bit.
;) We had the same saying in Botswana but it mainly applied to weaker beers ;)

    I did indeed!
Not so great for quali, that...rather have it during the race!
    :D
Apparently there was some smoke seen coming from my ears

    ----

There was a racing ''simulator'' (I use the term loosely, as they ran Codemasters F1 2015, which in every measurable way, is arcade as ****), but they did have the fanatec wheel, F1 playseat and the fanatec single seater wheel unit, so massive want on that front. Managed fastest in the first go, which means if you're fastest of the group you get to have another go. Was already fastest of the day (only did 3 laps!), so improved my time by a measely 6 tenths. Should've been 1.5 seconds up on that, but there was massive lag on that lap. Whatever. Fastest time of today and tomorrow overal wins 2 paddock tickets for next year. Please.

No worries - Thanks for posting 'em. We'll live vicarioulsy thru you!

How long did you have to line up for prior to getting in?

    ;)

It almost looks "gold" in some of those pix. Dunno what was wrong with their "traditional" French yellow.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Odds that Kvyat drives straight into Max... then slams into Vettel... gets out of car... drops mic!

It's all to do with the weight of the paint as I understand it.

The "traditional" French yellow apparently weighs more than this yellow by something like 0.5Kg's in total on the car.

That's 0.5Kg's of movable ballast to fine tune the car's race trim that they'd be missing out on.

Possible I guess. But it really does look like ****!

And 0.5kg. Really? I believe they're all already moving ten's of kilos around as it is. Is a 1/2k really going to change anything?

It looks crap on the TV & Bas has confirmed its just as bad in person! Surely we're not the only ones noting how terrible it is....

    Cheers,
    Ian
PS - Also meant to note; Everyone send good karma thoughts Bas' way - Seems like if he can get a decent run in the sim he may be "there or thereabouts" for a pair of paddock passes next year. How awesome would that be!

Slightly bad news: Hamilton to receive new, upgraded MGU-K (so more power...), Rosberg won't get it just yet.

Also, broke my car on the way home :(. At it happens, 300 meters from my house. Drove out of a junction with some enthusiasm and sheered a CV joint :(. Great timing.

Given that he's ahead in the title race, that hardly seems fair!

    :(

    "Some enthusiasm"..... Uh-huh!..... ;)

Hopefully you've got an alternative for the next few days?

    Cheers,
    Ian

Sorting one out now...want to hire a car but the office closes before he arrives .

Might want to take the entire left side axle off and just drive it like that for a few days, my diff is welded so I'll have drive, but wondering if it's wise to do, lol.
