Hey everyone, I'm slowing executing my improvement plan on my '78. I have installed the air pump plugs and had my headers ceramic coated. My exhaust has about had it, so I'm planning on having one of the Magnaflow-based custom exhausted mounted up. Additionally, I will be removing the airbox baffling. Obviously, these changes will lead me to adjust my carb setup. What idle/main/corrector sizes are people with a similar setup using? I'm just a leisurely street driver so I'm not looking for anything fancy. Thanks! E
You will need to change the jets, air correctors and emulsion tubes. The idle jets should be fine. I have 55 idle jets (I believe this is stock), 135 main jets (125 are stock), 200 Air Correctors, F36 Emulsion Tubes.
Thanks for the info! I'm having trouble sourcing the F36 emulsion tube. To be honest, I'm having trouble sourcing any emulsion tube for the DCNF carbs. WeberCarbsDirect doesn't seem to have them. Any suggestions? Thanks! E
