Thanks. F430 Challenge wheels and assembly. Goes with my big brake set up. It's P art of my mission for the ultimate manual 360 configuration: some CS parts, some F430 parts, some 360 Challenge and F430 Challenge parts.
I respect the urge to customize but am I the only one that is just happy as hell with my 360 the way it came from the factory. Just as many heads turn when I drive by! 360 is the next 275GTB

Well maybe that's the difference. I don't care about "turning heads" or posing or what any bystanders think. I want the most competent car possible for my winding mountain roads and decided the only way to do that was to dig into the Ferrari parts book and do that. I think if all that matters is making "heads turn" then stock is great.
To each is own, but some people like to stand out or be unique. Some are tasteful, some have no clue what they are doing. If you're enjoying your stock Ferrari, then good for you. Salute!

That view right there is where I feel that the F430 has it over the 360. Are they different enough to have both?
I agree the 430 has a higher stance and looks better from the rear. I have a 458,430 and 360 if I had to choose which one to keep it would most definitely be the 360. I say this because it's a bit more old school and that's what I like, less stuff pure driving and keeping it simple.
Nice that you don't have to choose huh? I went from an F355 to an F430 mostly because the F355 is so small inside. What I do miss is that I could bang a few gears in that car and still not be commiting any felonies. Doing that in the F430 and getting caught would be bad. Shorter bursts are safer.
The 360 is a really interesting car and it has translated into a really enduring driving experience. I really does feel a lot more old school than it is but not in a way where you feel that it's interfering with the performance. My 550 has a lot of the same characteristics but the shifter and throttle feel even heavier. I think that Luca's first cars clean sheet cars - the 456, 550, and 360 - were really good cars but not to the point where they were overly electronic or technology laden. You can really feel that in the driving experience and as time goes on, they will become more and more appreciated.
Obviously I'm biased but I think the 360 has the better looking booty. - 360 is lower slung, svelte, and more purposeful looking - Not a big fan of the exposed "toenails" tail-lights of the 430; prefer the 360 / old-school look - Simpler, less "going on" on the 360's rear. - 360 has a bigger Cavallino!!!! Bam.
While I do prefer the look of the 360, I think that the F430 is a great looking car but the one thing that I have never liked are those tail lights. It's definitely along the lines of exposed toenails or something. It completely ruins the rear of the car for me. I know that it's straight from the Enzo but I hated them there, too.
It always amazes me when I read people hating taillights and even how they ruin the whole car. Isn't that pretty nitpicky? Never once thought of them as "toenails"... that's kinda weird. Likewise do you also hate the 599, 458, and 488? I feel that as a package the tail ends all look great. I always thought the 360 was "softer" than the 360 not better, not worse. I'd probably have one myself if my wife didn't insist on the F430... being the guy I am I put her needs first.
