Running up to Safeway. Buying a French Loaf. Tossing that into the oven with some butter, real garlic and some garlic seasoning deal. Then I have some spaghetti sauce and meatballs leftover from Sunday. Nice meatball sub.

Meant to ask about this. So, straight ground prime rib, or a mix of prime rib and something else?

Yum. Love Maui onions. Texas sweets are good, but not as good as Maui...T

I think just prime rib. They are preformed burger patties. They had whole box frozen or single patties fresh.

So, how's it taste? I'm guessing somewhere between sublime and outrageously great.

One of these days, I plan on getting a kitchen aid mixer, and getting attachments like the meat grinder, pasta roller, etc. It'd be great to whip up some burger blends. I've had burgers with ground brisket in them.

Ugh! I want my backyard back! Sorry, house renovation blues. Another month to go. :(

That sounds like an interesting recipe. Looks good. What kind of grill is that? Looks like a cast iron grill?

That's a STÖK Tower. You're correct on the grill grate. I also have the cast iron kettle that sits in the grill. Great for a chicken soup I make.

Aha, now I remember that grill from a different thread!! I'm roasting chicken tonight. Little olive oil, some Montreal chicken seasoning, nothing fancy. Steamed broccoli as a go-with. Following Jdubbya's lead and boiling up the roasted bones in water for stock for a future chicken soup. It's smelling good!

A little better then hamburger, not as good as prime rib. A little bit like an unseasoned meatball. Same texture.

Chick Fil A? Never been, but I know people who love it. I picked up a larger party tray at CFA for the wife, very efficient operation. The manager even helped me load it in to the truck...T

Wow never been?! I love it for a lot of reasons. Fries are tasty and the chicken burger oh ya. Nothing amazing not gourmet but still hits the spot every time.

Do you ever get the spicy sandwich?

I've loved it since I was a kid and the only places you could find them were in the mall. And the cool things was if you were at the mall late enough they would hand out the remaining sandwiches for free!!!

That reminds me, the other place I always ate at the mall besides chic-fil-a was Long John Silver. I haven't eaten there in over a decade.

Ate at LJS in college. The place in Gainesville usually had a coupon or a special or something, so a bunch of us would go and share. As I recall, the fish and chips were pretty good...T

I always asked for extras of those "crispies" that were underneath the fish. Those were so good!
