It's all good Jez. You still have a 308 in your collection.

Actually, you have an excellent collection of cars man.

The 355 just adds to this, congrats!! Your car looks amazing.

First, CONGRATS, welcome and absolutely beautiful car! Love the Crema! As far as the shields if they are Yoshi's and are positioned properly (which they appear to be) and YOU like them then keep them. It is your car and totally removable so not like someone drilled into the fender or something stupid. Shields are always cool and (experts correct me here) I think they were only offered as factory on very late-model 355s as well as the Fiorano editions. I toyed with them on my GTS and decided no but they are already on yours so what the heck! :)

Again - absolutely beautiful car - Enjoy!! :)

Gorgeous car! The interior combo is one of my favorites, have not seen any in the US. Agreed with the challenge grill. I would personally ditch the shields (I only like them with embossed fenders) but entirely up to you.

What sound/version Capristo did you go with? Yours has the perforated (plugs?) on the ends that I haven't seen in a while, nor do I know the purpose.

    Thanks James.
From what I see and understand , the interior colour combo in my 355 is much more usual in the UK than in either the us, where tan is the main preference, and in Europe, where Nero/red carpets is more the norm.
The capris to us a custom build specified by my independent garage from Capristo.... I'm not sure of the equivalent level 1/2 or3.... But it's loud enough for me to be really careful on initial start up of an early morning in a rural English town, that's for sure!!

That is one beautiful 355. Well done. Love the challenge grill and interior crema color. My 348SS has the same color interior. Rejoice in the 2.7 ECUs. The car has more rated power than the 5.2. Yes, it is not as tunable, but you will survive. I assume it is a less fussy car. In the US this is an OBD1 model versus the later OBD2. Doing emission control checks on the OBD2 cars can be a challenge.

    Hi Elliott,
Thanks, yes it does make a huge difference to the cosmetic look to the interior, doesnt it?! Fells much nicer when driving , also.
If anyone is interested, my garage worked with Hill Engineering in the UK to make a specific hub connector to convert the standard airbag wheel to the 3 spoke non airbag wheel , as nobody had done this before, it appears ..... now its possible and looks OEM

slightly better picture of the new 3 prong wheel conversion..... i think the hub/connector was only c.£200,..... but of course you have to be lucky to find a non airbag wheel first!!

Hi Henry .... the sound from the Capristo regularly has our very conservative neighbours shaking their fists at me on start up !.... one even told me to go and get my car fixed :)
    All the best,
