I've been asked a few times how it works without the touch screen of the Cali T and GTC, so here you go. https://youtu.be/K27onY9NzGE Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you for taking the time to do that. Very interesting to see Apple Car Play in action and in a Ferrari no less!
Anything is possible, but i think it would be very expensive as you would need the Carplay button area replaced, other hardware (NIT) and firmware upgraded.
I don't know why mine has it. I didn't spec it. In fact, it wasn't an option available. I took delivery in May. Does yours have the updated audio? Maybe that's the difference as mine does have it. The  CarPlay is listed on the invoice but there was no charge for it. Mine also came with HELE which I didn't opt for either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe this is an indication that Carplay will be standard on the imminent F12M using the same button cluster that you have on your car. Surely it wouldn't be worth designing and manufacturing it just for one model year maximum?
I believe its an option on the F12tdf... Very interesting. I have an F12b coming and the upgraded audio and I did not have the opportunity to order car play. I also didn't order HELE...
Delivery was the end of October 2015. It does have the upgraded audio and also HELE. I couldn't be happier with the automobile; exceeded my expectations in every way, even without the Apple CarPlay.
Excellent video! I have Apple Play in my FF and it is ordered for my next car coming in the Fall. Cheers!
Was at dealer yesterday. In the USA it is not standard, it is available as an option now for around $4,000. For the early build 2016 it was not an option. Not sure if to me it's really worth $4k since my f12 is my Sunday car, but definitely very cool.
Thank you for the thorough and informative follow-up of the 2016 F12 CarPlay availability in the USA. Answers why my 2016 F12 doesn't have it. Thanks again.
