I"m not sure if it is or isn't. But I would imagine that RBC would want their front line staff to project a certain image.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned a certain Enzo/mc12's owners son being charged with rape and murder yet.

Thanks for the link. New phone and still figuring it out.
Such a shame. I grew up in the same circle of friends as Blake and his Brother.

Obviously a very disturbed guy. Hope he gets what he needs.

I don't normally judge people with tattoo's except when they look like gang members and work in a bank!

I'm sure they would prefer non-tat's, but not willing to stir controversy (ie, discrimination), they let it slide.

I don't like tattoos either, but what can you do? Wait until they hit 60, 70 years old and see what the tat's look like then... Eeeewwww :)

Hasn't been on the news as much as you would think. If this was hollywood, it would be on TMZ 24 hrs a day.

Something's can only be done via the bank. Like U.S. dollar deposits, or certified checks, etc. I also have to do business banking via the teller. Audited its easier if we have a paper trail.

    Yes.

Not everything is do-able (yet) from home/office via internet.

Also, I want to preserve jobs. By not going into a bank, it gives them more of a reason to automate everything.

Another news story is Trudeau will be the first Prime Minister to attend the Pride Parade this year. I hope he has time to go to Carabana as it is a great party also.

I renewed my mortgage over the phone, I do all my business transactions online or at an ATM. I can even deposit US funds into a US account at an ATM. Tellers should start thinking about retraining. Even McDonald's started using an automated screen!

What if you need 3000$ in cash to pay your mechanic or contractor? And the cash payment saves you the taxes.

Oh I have two banks. My credit union is the one who wont do U.S. deposits in the ATM. Royal is for spending. Credit union is for savings and better deals on mortgages.

Although I doubt a big Canadian bank will ever go under. Credit unions in BC deposits are 100% insured. Since they are non profit, you get rebates back on loans, mortgages and even extra interest on term deposits, etc. They also pay higher interest on savings accounts and term deposits. I also like having some control on how the credit union is run. Great place if you save cash.
