I have seen the 458 you are considering, it looks fantastic, although I was not checking it out to closely, such as I would to purchase it.
I have much trust in James at FOSF.

Let me know if you want me to really look at it.

Wife and I are 'almost' in the market to consider a one/two new set of Ferraris for us. Most likely after the next 18 months has elapsed.

We had a very nice visit this last Sat to FoSF, which is where I purchased my first when it was owned by Ferrari Spa and Brad worked there.

Talked with a nice guy, Safa, and we almost pulled the trigger on one/two items, but thought better to wait for the 18 month plan

QUESTION: We fell in love with a beaut of an FF and feel that is our next purchase/lease [not sure yet]
but it seemed about $20K over the going prices today. [asking about $195K - but has remaining maintenance for several years, and pano roof--we like--and some extras]
What seems to be the experience with the dealership lately in all terms

On the surface, we are very pleased with attitude and attention to us.

I agree with Financialman. Contact James Chou at FoSF. He is a very trustworthy person and main contact for some of my clients and friends.

Agree with everyone. Safa and the whole team at FoSF are great to work with. Helped in my sale of my 430 when I decided to change to a 2016 California T. Much easier to work with compared to Ferrari Silicon Valley where I purchased my 430. From consignment to getting all the financing and paperwork done on my new T went very smoothly.

I have gone through Safa on all of my transactions, great service before and after sale. He is a must!

    458 Spider, California T, 458 Speciale and 488 inbound

James has helped with the post sale; the team is fantastic, better than Silicon Valley. Emmanuel for events and Jay at service is amazing.

What are the complaints with Ferrari Silicon Valley?
My experience with them was extraordinarily good.

Lack of follow up and taking me seriously. In person and on the phone.

My 1st hand experience with Ferrari of San Francisco was completely terrible back when I was trying to buy my first Ferrari at Mill Valley. I had been to the dealership several times previous and express serious interest in ordering/buying a 458 back in 2013. I had gotten to the point that I had an appointment to test drive a car and traveling across the bay to test the car and consider ordering it. Well, upon arrival at the dealership the salesperson said they could not allow me to test drive the floor used car...it was not a rainy day either. I ask for the manager, and James came in saying "No as well"....why?....didn't think I was serious...not to sound racial...but I 'm Asian and over 55+...not in my weekend clothing....
Bottom line, I told them if I left the dealership I would go to Silicon Valley and order which I did...and Ferrari shipped the car on a plane 9 months lately. Unfortunately, I had a friend who purchased a car from them...but he is 80+ year old...maybe you have to be older?

Well, I 'm ready to order another 2 cars...won't be from Mill Valley...

I didn't buy my car from any dealer, but my friend did, back in 1995. It was a brand new F355 spider from Ferrari of San Francisco in Mill Valley. Me and a bunch of friends tagged along and the experience was excellent. Keep in mind all of us were college sophomore. A bunch of 19 years old kids, 5 of us to be exact. The guy, whom I forgot the name, gave us a tour of the facility and give us all rides on a different F355. At the time when we visited, BJ Armstrong was there shopping for a Ferrari. He was freshly traded from Bulls to Warriors.

My friend ended buying the car there. They didn't look down on us even once and treated all of us with respect and enthusiasm. A bunch of Asian kids. Btw, he was trading in 1993 BMW 318is which they took with a value of $17k.

Being Asian and late 30s, had no issues getting my first Ferrari from San Francisco Mill Valley. Was in shorts and workout clothes. Safa and James were great walking me through the process, answering all of my crazy questions and constant emails, even today. Now I'm about to get my 4th Ferrari, in transit. Jay from service is fantastic as well. Emmanuel has been wonderful in events. I would try to work with those folks listed.

Sorry for those that didn't have the best experience at SF. Would give those guys another shot.

Like I said earlier, Silicon Valley was the opposite. No call backs, poor responses on the phone and when I went to the dealership, no one helped except for the coffee lady. No other customers there at the time.

Such a wide range of views for the same two dealerships in basically the same period of time: interesting.

per below: that was when Ferrari, Spa owned the dealership.

what does being Asian in your late 30's have to do with buying a Ferrari?

Someone. Pro mill valley forwarded my post of dis satisfaction to sales manager of mill valley which was commendable , but his response was somewhat apologetic but I clarified the situation and it was never addressed. No need to follow up anymore....

Had a great experience with the Ferrari SF service dept until today where we had disagreement over pricing. It was a pretty minor amount of money but still felt like they pulled a fast one on me and made me question the integrity of the new service advisor.

Please PM me if you are interested as I dont really think it deserves a thread, but still left a bad taste in my mouth as a customer
