He might be a 'moron' as you describe it, but he is a 3 times WDC and likely not done yet. I don't suppose his too stressed about it!

As for Ros - he's a 'moron' too for being too soft. No WDCs so far, none likely in the future. It's an easy choice for Merc to replace him.

What Merc really need is for Vettel to get fed up with Ferrari, then hire him (German box ticked), ditch Ros, then go after Ves. That would be the dream team.

How did I miss this excellent and well thought out thread?

    Post 3 sums it up.

HOWEVER, I don't understand why a team doesn't have a 1 and 2. To me it makes perfect sense if you want to maximise the strength of the team.

Obviously no 2 doesn't give back a place to no 1 if no 1 is 10 places behind or anything, but if you have a strong car and you're going for WDC and WCC, then it makes perfect sense.

It does indeed make perfect sense. But ..... it makes races more exciting for fans if a team's drivers are allowed to compete with one another. And what on earth would fill FerrariChat F1 section every other week if Rosberg and Hamilton weren't allowed to race one another and get involved in incidents? ;)

Agree 100% rosberg mainly just lacks that killer drive.

Vettel and hamilton kill me with their crybaby premadonna antics.

MS truly embodied the ideal racer.
