    Gentlemen - I have recently acquired an original suit & tie worn by Enzo in the late 70s and early 80s. It comes documented with a photo of him wearing it, and a letter from the original owner who was both his employee and friend. This is a serious piece of automotive history, fit for a museum or private collection. In my 16 years of buying and selling rare collectibles, I have never heard or seen anything like this.

    I am friendly with a person that worked for Enzo and have been told that when he passed most of his clothing was destroyed because the family feared a feeding frenzy for just such items. I am sure some items survived but know from a reliable source that there is not much out there. Great find that should be purchased by a museum IMHO.

    Interesting to hear that. Would you have that in print anywhere that you could scan and forward over? I heard the very same but it's not documented anywhere that I know of. The person I got these from was given them by Enzo as a hand-me-down for his own use as he did not have much money and Enzo was approximately his size.

    What WAS Enzo's suit size? While my heritage is not Italian, I've got the Italian build (i.e. I'm short), and I'm curious if I could wear the suit.

    Of course, I don't have the funds for my first FCar, so I CERTAINLY can't buy his suit. But still, would be kinda cool to know if I fit "in Enzo's shoes" so-to-speak.

    It's a custom tailored suit with the dimensions sewn into the inside breast pocket....

    Interesting thought. McQueen's glasses 'allegedly' worn in the Thomas Crown Affair (as they were one of about 12 pairs he had made for that movie) fetched about US$65K......making this suit, selling for way less, an absolute bargain.

    You have to think that if someone just paid $300K+ for Jerry Garcia's guitar....this suit which is selling for a tiny fraction of the price makes a great collectible/investment for the auto buff.

    I do realize that yes, but I ask this because I have a UNION FAIRLINE AIRLESS fountain pen that was owned by Enzo Ferrari.
    Maby was this the same owner who sold my fountain pen at the Automobilia Auction Monza in 1984.
