The Deer Hunter was HORRIBLE - imho, of course... :)

Unfortunately, i haven't seen all of the films listed, but out of the ones i HAVE seen, i'd have to go with either of the two Godfather flicks or Silence Of The Lambs... Although, i bet Kramer vs. Kramer was a kick-ass movie, too...

EDIT: Oh! & i'm also dying to see The French Connection, too... :)

I just watched both Godfathers, love those films. I also thought that Anthony Hopkins did some of his best work in Silence of the Lambs. I have that one on VHS, great film! Scared the hell out of my wife. The french connection is a cool film. Gene Hackman won best actor Oscar for that film.

Heres another. How many consecutive best actor oscar winners are there? Who were they? What films did they get them for? Answer the same for best actress. Who has the most oscars for either best actor or actress? Has there ever been a tie for either best actress or actor?

Hmmmmm. 32 years later. My guess is you'll live.

BTW "The Deer Hunter" is not to be confused with "The REINdeer Hunter."

Ok here are the answers since no one seems to be into it.

There are 2. They are Spencer Tracy & Tom Hanks. The films were Boys Town (1937) & Captians Courageous (1938) for Spencer, and Philadelphia (1993) & Forrest Gump (1994) for Tom Hanks. Kathren Hepburn has the most with 4. There has been 1 tie between Kat hepburn & Babs Streisand. It was in 1968 for The lion in winter & Funny girl.
