Hey guys, just picked up an F430 coupe and the radio it terrible. What's the "go to" stereo you guys recommend for this car, ideally to include a nav and Bluetooth for phone?

If you wanted to stay OEM, Ferrari offers an upgrade called infotainment. If you search here you'll see a long thread about it. It's a repackaged clarion unit with Ferrari logos. Lots of opinions on it.

Other threads on upgraded stereos. do a search for ideas. The Becker has to be one of the worst car stereos of all time.

No, I was actually talking to Stryke. From your post, you indicated that you changed yours out. If you are anything like me, I've boxed up all the parts and they are tucked away somewhere and I couldn't tell you what I've got. Stryke on the other hand, just bought his and still has the factory radio. Wasn't sure what was standard.

    Sorry for the misunderstanding.

It has two black knobs and a CD player hidden in back of a flip down panel. Sounds terrible. I prefer the exhaust note anyways but would like a NAV/Bluetooth for phone.

There we go... I have bluetooth and everything from OEM but I turn it on once in a blue moon. Ferrari's radio is just there so that they can say you have a radio. Quality is not in par with other cars. Of course you could totally make your own system putting amps and speakers but I decided not to and keep as stock as possible. I know they upgraded the whole system from 458. I do not listen to radio where love listening to the engine.

At Ferrari in Englewood, NJ, which I believe is also the HQ of Ferrari and Maserati is the first Ferrari dealership I have ever entered first in the 90's when I wanted to get rid of Lotus Esprit Turbo. When I took 348 Spider out for a test drive and asked the guy about the radio, he pointed his fingers to the back towards the engine.. "That's the radio for you want to listen to in a Ferrari" I never forget that and that is how I drive... No radio...

To be honest, I put 100 miles this weekend and did not turn the radio on. Love the engine sound. However, I plan to drive the car and sometimes like some music on longer drives. Driving it for an hour tomorrow morning and may get bored in 6th gear the entire way without music.
