Full story here No, no, no, no no. 348 owners...don't read the article. They disparage the model. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Regarding the commentary, they've pretty much nailed it. "Today the 348 is a weird kind of wasteful and extremely limited in appeal. Far too slow and ugly for the traditional Ferrari aficionado, yet too expensive to own and operate for those who might appreciate it anyway." "But somehow its still cool. The sheen of Ferrariness never wears all the way off, after all."
355's need not apply. Their undertray keeps them from getting "down." 348's have the power of a Honda civic. I think they are the perfect car to stance, remove all the badges, black out the windows and cruise. Can't get any tickets for going fast or street racing because you can't.
Think it looks good and brings out the edge of look for 348 (if not so much camber) My 355 when i had it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It looks like someone put on new rims and dropped it off a crane from a few stories. Tilting wheels and putting a small tire on a large rim are both stupid ugly.
Funny. I laughed out loud when I read that in the article. Spot on right? In looking back, I bet they did...almost word for word...interesting perspective. ...and is it just me? Every time I look at that picture I hear a "boom, boom, booom"....out of my computer speakers.
I'd love to see a Petrolicious feature vid on a passionate 348/owner one of these weeks... anyone here have an in with the Petrolicious group? Some of my former fellow online Z3 M owners did, and were able to pull a nice Z3 M Coupe feature a while back.
