Someone needs to start a petition to stop the unfair and unethical treatment of this Ferrari engine. :D If it were a fiat 500 then ok... But a ****ing brz?! What the hell? What's next? Custom made Ferrari based on a Lamborghini???

I think it's awesome. That engine was probably sitting in a junk yard. Now someone will get to enjoy that screaming 9k rpm motor.

    I like it:)

I mean if everyone had said "Why" instead of "Why not", would we have had the Concorde?;)

This is all about fun and pushing the limits - just like the 458 is. Neither this project nor the 458 was ever meant to be sensible. It's all about emotion.

Kudos for doing something different and exciting.

    Wow that is cool!

Would be better with a V12 from an F12.

Why not? Their car. Their choice. Though it's not the norm, you can't knock on their creativity and enginuity.

All enthusiast should appreciate this type of work. Whether you agree or not it's a matter of taste.

I think it's pretty sweet. People rarely do stuff like this anymore since 99% of stuff would never be compatible given all the new technology and transmissions etc. I think it's cool that someone is still cramming a totally different motor into a car, and a fantastic motor at that.
