Could it be that Ferrari had two suppliers of the nose badges using both fonts and Ferrari simply weren't too fussed about them being different so used both? - Just a thought!
My thoughts exactly. We've all seen curiosities that can be attributed to how things were done at the factory. I envision 2 bins of nose badges, and which ever bin was closer was at the time the badge went on the car won out.
