These times reflect the last counted "real" Lamborghini days!
Just an amazing time just a few years ago...

It doesn't just have lift kit, it also has adjustable suspension.

You may want to consider the stronger 'Custer' clutch rod
here... Replacing a Broken Clutch Connecting Rod in a Diablo

I got mine from Glen, not cheap, but another improvement not to worry about

    Hi David,
    It´s me Leo ;)
Hmm i think the reason why the rods starts to break is because the slave cylinder is too tight into the bell housing without any clearance fit.
I mean in radial direction. The axial direction is fixed with a lock ring.

When i removed the old clutch cylinder it was really difficult to remove it from the bell housing because of contact corrosion between the alloy bell housing and the black steel of the cylinder. If you push the clutch pedal, the cylinder needs a bit clearance because the force of the rod is not complete in straight line. Another reason is that if the cylinder starts to leak it drops directly on the rod which makes the clutch rod rough and rusty.

So what i did is, i sanded the bell housing bore and used alot of grease and fixed the clutch cylinder. Now the cylinder is moveable and can "work".

I think fast opening was a standard option but it depends on the delivery country.
For example i never noticed a us-spec car with fast opening engine cover.
But i saw UK/AU (rhd) with both options, fast opening and normal locking covers.

no, 1999 UK RHD SV cars had the option of fast or normal opening - mine is normal, with the weak plastic handle in the passenger door frame

Yes correct. I checked my register again and can´t find a 97/98 SV without fast opening bonnet. Seems that the "normal lock" came in MY99 production.

Thank you for the reminder Emilio ;)

To be exactly 6 cars were built between 1998 and 1999.

2x MY98 with pop up lights
    -both left hand drive
-one is yellow-black alcantara and visible carbonfiber roof (currently located in Germany)
-other one is orange-grey-black alcantara, visible carbonfiber roof too (currently in turkey)

    4x MY99
-two are RHD, one is badly crashed (no more info)
-other RHD is dark blue with beige leather and dark blue alcantara
-one LHD is dark blue (blu scuro) with beige leatherand dark blue leather on dashboard
-other LHD is still missing in my register
