I didn't even realize my old car had been resold! The new owner called me today. He loves the car. Unfortunately, he was not aware of the salvage title history until we talked...he's pretty upset right now. As I was when I found out.
Anyone knows this car? Said to have a turbocharger. Ferrari, Mondial, Cabrio Convertible V8 32v - Te koop | 2dehands.be Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some strange things though: - Single fan radiator for the US market? - Water bottle not attached where it should be - The cabriolet decal not in the correct position at the back - No 3d stop light - Blue color band on the front windshield.
Found a QV in France for 18000: https://www.leboncoin.fr/equipement_auto/992868822.htm?ca=7_s Looks like a nice car, but the pictures show a 'Parucchieri Paola', it's Italian for Hairdresser salon Paola. It has Italian plates too. My guess, the car is still in Italy.
Anyone knows this car? Said to have a turbocharger. Yes I think this car was sold on ebay about a year ago ex Texas for around $16000, needing work having been standing for about 3 years (if you search using the VIN on Fchat you will see some posts from the prior owner, a young kid .. the clutch was slipping and the car was overheating on boost as there is no intercooler). It was then resold at an auction in CA for about $25K. It is not legal in the USA. I suspect there may still be some issues with it so check it out carefully.
Two low mile white Mondial Cabs for sale on Ebay right now. One T at around $50K make offer one is a 3.2 at $30K starting bid. One is dealer car, one is private. Ferrari Mondial | eBay In addition another dealer (Goldman) has a red T coupe at $60 and a red T Cab at $69K (with 16K miles) both bin. Third dealer has a red T cab at $52K Make Offer. Finally there is a 3.2 red Cab at $42K bin, this is the only one that has "normal" miles at 48k. Seems like Ts are more plentiful than the earlier cars right now. There are no glaring issues with these cars, other than the private 3.2 white which has warm a/c and mtce history a bit fuzzy. All of these cars have been relisted multiple times.
For anyone interested in a QV coupe.... I was visiting Fast Cars in Redondo Beach this week (amazing place!) and saw a beautiful dark metallic grey/red leather qv coupe in the shop with a for sale sign on it. I recognized the car immediately as one I'd seen on ebay last year. I think we even discussed here it a bit at the time. Anyway, there's a bit of a story behind it but ultimately the car got shipped to Fast Cars, and they completely rebuilt the engine. It is stunning. The seller wants $35k for the car. That's about what the ask is on these at the moment anyway, but considering the overall condition of the car (very good) and the newly rebuilt engine (amazing), I think it's a steal for someone. The only downside (to me) was the aftermarket wheels. Sorry, no picture taking at Fast Cars out of respect for the other owners cars in the shop. So if you want a really nice QV coupe, call over to Fast Cars and ask someone about it. If I needed another Mondial I'd be all over it like white on rice. Edit: No affiliation to seller or shop. I'd just love to see someone who loves these cars get this car.

Do you have a spare tire in the front? Maybe the T did not come with one? I know my 3.2 sits high in the front when I take the spare out, about 1/2" or so. Alden
I do not carry the donut spare tire, that's true. How much difference that would make in its stance I don't know. I have all five original wheels and tires but with the 17" rims I only have the skinny tire.

Nobody is going to import a Mondial all the way from Poland. That's asking for it. And I doubt there's a Polish member of the forum. It's not much different than the Austin TX Coupe with fresh motor that sold on BAT not too long ago. I forget what it sold for. Poor guy bought the car and the belts let go before he made it home. Apart from a fire or a wreck this is the most expensive thing that can happen to a Ferrari owner, even a V8. The rebuild probably cost as much as the car.
^^^ True, I would wager importing that car would be quite the headache. I'm prepping mine to go soon, odds and ends, detail it, good photographs, then moving on in life.
