What you think a little get together in a couple weeks for no good reason? During the week or weekend, some food-drink, nothing big few hours No repairs needed I can put out a motor or two or a couple challenge cars to use as table and chairs. Got a new video system we can live stream the event LOL ALSO~~~ World Motorsports is having a exotic show this weekend also Sat 9-2 This is the place with the new dyno room Open house and car meet at World Motorsports. At some point I need to make it out to a stoogefest. My first job was at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach. Lived in Cerritos. Going back would be fun...a chance to see the old stomping grounds. Dave, you and I need to meet up and crash a stoogefest. Let's plant the seed today and see what the fall brings. WTF is with those cupcakes BTW?
I'm due for a trip back to Socal - not sure when though. And Tim lives in Long Beach - probably not for long if he keeps running the challenge cars in the neighborhood (they will probably throw him out )
I got thrown out of all the nice neighborhoods already, LB seems to love me. With a band 2 doors to my right and a recording studio in the back 2 doors to the left I am the quiet one
I am going to be in the area for family activities July 29-30. I am not sure how much time I can spare
Competed against Ross Bentley at Portland International Raceway in 1989 in a WCAR Formula Atlantic race. Turned out to be a bad weekend. I had a huge crash during the standing start and got a compression fracture of the T7 vertebrae. Never had much interaction with him, but he seemed like a nice guy.
Tim: If you are going to do something, set it up soon. I'm still stated to host Stoogeapalloza III in Sherman Oaks this October. Looking at October 15th for the date.
LOL..I raced Atlantic cars over 20 years. My attachments have become much smaller as I've gotten older
