Hi to all , I've just purchased new front lower ball joints from hill engineering as recommended and just wondered if it's a easy diy fit with no special tools , any advice welcomed Thanks
Hill Engineering also makes a very nice set of ball joint installation/removal tools. That's what we use. Depending on what shop/press tools you might have, the job may be possible.
After purchasing my 07 612 HGTS, I had to replace 6 of 10 ball joints on my vehicle. These were the Hill Engineering product. Car drove much better - definitely worth the getting done. So far, no issues.
Thanks for replies ,just looked at the tools on hills site didn't realise they sold them ,so basically you need extraction tool and a press tool
