Sexy!
That is an amazing deal. Very tempting, and it would seem like a killer investment for a shop: buy this and either reverse engineer a detuned kit, or work with the builder to co-produce one.
Do it Keep this baby here in SoCal. It has a Challenge tag so money in the bank. I would give it a good look in the motor health, lots of folks, not loving drivers beat the snot out of it on test rides
https://youtu.be/6KajL7klumA One of my favorite videos, love this part EARGASIM! https://youtu.be/6KajL7klumA?t=494 Here is the article. http://www.forza-mag.com/issues/126/articles/the-right-amount-of-wrong?page=1#.V5BOJfkrLcs While I love this car, it will always bring less than an original 348 Challenge as they have now caught on. It's been modified just that much. It is better than it was ever intended to be.
You are out of your mind. This will be an iconic 348 forever. I promise. It will stand alone as so many other famous, but modified Ferraris have. It's like a Norwood, Novitec, Nick Forza or Koenig car.
Again, I love this car. All you have to know is I love the 348s in general. But here's a point. Can you buy an original 348 Challenge for 80 now? Low mileage mint? Find me one. I'd like to have the kit as well. I think this is an incriedable value on this car as many thousands have been spent. To the collector original is typically what they want. I'd love to see this car on the bar, well some call it a lift, but I'd need to move the yellow car so the yellow is separated for aesthetics. That is if Julie will let me buy it. Damn damn damn damn! It got away before I could talk to the owner. Going one sate over-NC. So, let's see if we know each other. Mike?!
