    Greetings All,

We are pleased to announce our new spark plug boot removal tool for the 355 :)

Having been down the road of pulling a wire from the boot, I have personal experience that a tool is need to do this job right. Sometimes the boots are on the plugs very tight.

This tool gets the job done right at an affordable price point.

Made from billet aircraft aluminum, this one-piece design is efficient and attractive. Anodized aluminum, laser etched identification along with a handle hole for handing the tool on a peg board, etc. makes this a great value.

We will have this on our website soon, for now it can be seen and purchased on our new online store:

Thank you for looking and let me know if you have any questions.

    Nice!

I thought I saw one on Ricambi's site? I also have personal experience pulling boots, wish I had one of these available at the time.

Very nice, Dave. I hope it works as good as it looks! Not that I don't trust you LOL.

I have used other boot pulling tools and I have messed up several boots working on my C.O.P. system, using tools bought from various sources, including the one from BEHR (came manufacturers as our boots), and those did not work well.

This part looks, well, the part.

I'm gonna have you send me one my way, Dave.

    Cheers

In order to obtain an endorsement from FBB, it was decided that the gold color had the best chance of making it and it looks like we succeeded :D :)

As others have pointed out. You are correct. That tool has existed for a long time. I thought it was a new tool. I am wrong. Personally I don't use a dedicated tool because I work on too many other cars. The gold tool is good looking however.

The other tool is a dead clone of the OEM Ferrari tool, nothing at all unique, just a copy. Some other cars don't need a tool based on the design and geometry. The 355 is different.

Not on the list as of now :)

I have the tool from the Ricambi site but it is not as nicely executed as this one.
    Very nice Dave.

That thing works great. I just got one and it is nice. Works on 550/456 stuff too.
How do you do it without one of these bad boys? Wait, I have one so never mind.

I have an older one, this is nice to have, funny thing is it may seem like you dont need one, but if it saves the boot from damage why not have one.

I had purchased Dave's spark plug boot removal tool quite a while ago not knowing when I'd actually get to use it. It's been sitting on my shop desk looking pretty, . . . until today. I dropped the engine to get started on the belt service and the spark plugs came out today. The tool is designed perfectly. The boots came out without a hitch and I couldn't imagine trying to do the job without this handy device. Thanks Dave!
