Very interesting thread and thanks for bothering to weigh and post. My F12, sold today, had the heaviest rims and I can never look at them the same again. No choice on the tdf so no room for error.

The difference in design of the lambo vs ferrari wheels speak words about the brands.

The lightest set up is with SuperAlloy rims shod with Michelin tires.

The heaviest set up is Speedline rims shod with Pirelli tires.

I wonder if they lose a few more ounces per wheel with the diamond cut version....;)

Thanks for the info. I have no doubt they are a good company and their F12 forged wheel is my favourite design. I was just surprised the likes of APP tech who I know well weren't a preferred choice, but I guess if the quality is the same or even better and the price is right Ferrari will make that choice.

This makes me wonder who makes the TDF wheels and how much do they weigh?

I wonder if they are heavier than the benchmark superalloy?

    Anybody know?

Thanks for the info. Now, I am even happier with the forged wheels on my F12!

Just guessing, maybe from cars just shipped from factory which are to be fitted with aftermarket wheels? Then you would have a brand new factory set for resale.

Surely they will comment soon on this.

BTW, thanks Roland and OP for invaluable wheel info in this thread.

Price drop on the Super Alloys guys, if anybody wants to drop 32lbs, $5K DELIVERED wheels only! Good news is you can use your current tires if you have the heavier standard wheels as the tire specs are the same!

*We also have the Michelin Super Sport K2 (Ferrari spec) tires in stock along with brand new TPMS if you want to have a complete set up or maybe a 2nd set for track days?

**Powder coating also avail. if you want a custom color, (matte black, gloss black, gold or titanium gray)

It'd be interesting to know if any of the top brands i.e HRE, BBS, OZ, Advan and Forgeline could make a TÜV certified wheel in stock size that were even lighter.

Unfortunately the wrong ET values for Ferrari.

And wrong bolt pattern and hub bore. There are no FI-R wheels available for any Ferrari unfortunately.

All true, even the FI they do sell are only V8 Ferrari fitment and not for V12's.

I posted it more so people could see what comparable sized FI-R's weigh :).

We reckon we can give those stock wheel weights (in that stock spec) a run for their money...

Yeah this thread was made for the guys that have no interest in the aftermarket wheels. Maybe start another thread for aftermarket wheels as I'm sure allot of guys and wheel makers will want to chime in.

PS HRE, we don't do many aftermarket set ups but when we do we use HRE. This is one of our cars we recently did, cheers.

Now that the TDFs are out, have the wheels been weighed?
I am considering getting a set, but my forged super alloy diamond cut are pretty light already.

Ok guys got the wheels in today
    Apptech makes the TDF wheels

    Specs
    20x10 ET 48.4 fronts 20x11.5 ET 57.3
Front wheels weigh 20.5 lbs. rears weigh 23 lbs.

So these wheels will save 38 pounds over the standard cast aluminum wheels. They will save you 6lbs over the optional lightweight forged wheels.

sounds like perfect width and ET for F12B.

running slightly wider fronts, Cup2 all around.

ps: I know of different rolling circumference.

You can run the factory F12 tires no problem.
