As Les Wexner had a star turn in our - is it stolen - Ferrari saga that went in for quite a while and was amazingly entertaining, I thought I'd ask if anyone ever knew of him ever driving his Ferraris? Certainly he didn't bother to show up to the, local to him, National Ferrari meet this year. Though I'd heard a rumor that he would allow some of the club members to tour his collection if they paid $1000 each.

Makes you realize that no matter what you think of 0846, that owner goes over and above.

First time i see photos from his collection. Thank you very much. ¿Do you have more, or are around some more?

Quite a unique collection. Too bad they are all red.

    Best,

The car with the blue stripe is #0478? The only other car that I know of that looks like it would be #0484 but that doesn't have the hood scoop.

What a shame a collection like that was not shared in some way with those at the recent meet. It makes you appreciate David MacNeil for sharing so many of his cars.

If you are speaking of 0490/AM, look the last picture in the background, just behind the 14 louvres...

In addition to the 410 Sport Spider #0592 CM seen in the first and second photos, are you certain that Mr. Wexner's also owns 410 Sport Berlinetta #0594 CM?

Agreed. Too bad about the red on the street cars though. 0490AM is the worst....

    Yes Cyril, thank you.
I don t reconize it on the picture.
Seems the man persuaded that all F cars are red, big error! and
a real crime for the 0490 AM.

Agreed but one has to admit that it looks great with all the red cars on the wooden floor and the white walls...

I can not admit to that. I think a mix of colours from the period would look a LOT better. I saw this one just before the red paint went on. It looks so much better in the period colours. Judge for yourself.

Oh and it is a shame they are treated like paintings and it looks like they are never driven. What a shame. I love it that so many other owners share their toys with people who appreciate these old cars eg David Love (RIP. What a great guy.), Jim G, etc

I am not absolutely certain that Wexner owns s/n 0594 CM but it was my understanding that he bought it at the RM Monterey auction. If he doesn't own it who does?

No, but his driveway is about 1/2 mile long, does that count? I've been told they get exercise on a treadmill (dyno) when required. Sad sort of retirement for such machines.

We all only have one lap of life the next custodian may decide to just use them in a demolition derby, which would be worse?, at least the cars exist at this moment in time.
