Time to get ross the boss to run fiat motorsport
Here's another good article on the topic... https://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2016/07/ferrari-faces-f1-turmoil-as-james-allison-leaves-with-immediate-effect/
I wouldn't doubt Sweater Man had a sit-down with Allison and Arrivabene stating "It's time to focus on the team, we are sorry for your loss, but now it is time to step-it-up. We must win!!!!!" Or some ***** like that. Then sitting-in on his meetings with engineers, etc. Just being this over-bearing, soft-spoken, sweater-wearing dick with glasses. Allison probably concluded that this wasn't the arrangement he was looking for. I mean, for Allison to bail on the team and Kimi, something had to happen beyond the family situation. Specifically, within team management (read: Sweater Man). I can see Allison heading to Renault. Then, Renault hiring Kimi after 2017. With Alonso.....
Bad news but c´est la vie, nothing could be done about that. I suppose that we´ll have to keep going with Binotto for a year, as everybody else will be on gardening leave.
21 years between the World Championship of Drivers for Jody in 1979, and the next one in 2000. Kimi's was in 2007, we'll meet again in 2028... Rgds
will meet before that....and i always count any w.championship..they are both equaly important to me..so it's 82 to 99
It's the sad sound of failure. Trombone yep. Keyword in the news: "jointly" Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL at the Vettel meme. Do you guys really think something else must have happened? Not saying know I'm just sure everyone on here know's Allison's history much better than I. I can't imagine the family burden he must be going through right now. Perhaps he didn't feel he could offer the level of focus to the team that is required?
I doubt if Renault is contemplating hiring at high cost 2 drivers that haven't won anything for years, when there are plenty of new talents coming from lower series every year. Maybe Kimi and Alonso would accept a pay cut, but I doubt it. Renault is notorious for refusing to pay inflated prices.
+1 I don't see it. Sort the car out, make it quick, and have a Perez and presumably Grosjean in the car. They can have both less than half of Kimi (Grosjean doesn't command much and Perez has huge backing).
And it's the same team that didn't pay Kimi his bonuses when he last drove for them. I can't see him going back. All the best, Andrew.
Fresh, the only guy capable of being this much of ****** is sweater man. Allison lost his wife. I lost my wife 4 years ago. Luckily we didn't have kids and I didn't have to travel the world. Vettel is a top class driver and sportsman. He's done with the immature crashes and "I'm the best" that Hams and Nico are going through now. Yeah he is griping like an old man on the radio about blue flags, but he's right. I think Vettel will stay and see this through. They were getting very close. The sooner Marchione gets out of the F1 office and back to the board room the better. Why would Vettel move now when he has shown the ability to help a constructor improve a car. One of the prime reasons MB dominates is they got it right the first time and have built on it. Stability. Gambling on instability is not smart, especially with this complicated technology.
Vettel can't go anywhere realistically. Unless he calls F1 quits. He has unfinished business. He won't bail this quick.
I strongly believe Vettel will be the sequel to Alonso. If he stays for 5 years, he will have no additional WDC's to his name...he's already halfway there so, it's not that much of a stretch. I believe he will leave as soon as next season if Ferrari continues to fail to deliver. Mark this post.
He will...Michael took 5 years and he was better than Seb...he will have some patiente...and than he will win 2 or 3 more in a row!!
