    Hi Marco

Welcome to the Swiss thread! We are some driving fans here who organize Ferrari trips. Plus we have the Ferrari Drivers Club founded less than one year ago with 14 members in the meantime. I will send you a PM with further information.

    Hope to see you soon

    Markus

    PS: Nice cars!!

I have to do the vid from the Stelvio Pass. But need to do some work for my company first…

I was behind the Maser driving up to the Stelvio but one can hear your F12 screaming even though there was a car in between us…

    Stelvio part 1.

As you can see I was behind the Maser driving up to the Stelvio but sometimes one can hear the F12 screaming even though there was a car in between us…

I'm considering an brief after-work ride to the Schwarzwald either this Thursday (11.8. preferred) or Friday (12.8.). Start will be at the border station in Waldshut at 19.00h. We then will look for our nice roads in the Black Forest and return to the Swiss border at about 21.30h.
    Who might join?

David – I could join with my S7. I am having a customer workshop the whole day in Freiburg im Bresigau this Thursday.

No, just kidding. The S7 is a great touring car (Autobahn) but nothing for the Schwarzwald. Sorry, I am out.

Just a quick question. I have two fantastic members who have now vouched for me, but before I contact tifosi12, the rules state I need a third person to vouch for me into the private forum (or a mod). Can someone whom I met over the weekend pretty please also put their hand up for me :)

Thank you all, and weather looks amazing for this weekend, hope you get some great driving done!

I have no idea what you are talking about, or why people need to vouch for you on this forum, I have never heard of that before, but sure, I can vouch for you and your red 360 Modena, 3 pedal, Tubi machine :)

Sorry David, have visitors this weekend, but we have to do the Black Forest this month, for sure. I just bought a flying camera (lightweight drone) and we can have some fun with that also :)

For certain private sections on fchat you need to have other members that can confirm that you are actually a Ferrari owner. Tifosi12 controls that (mod).

Quick question in case anyone has Swiss leads for me.

I've sanded and polished one of my 360 keys, similar to what was done in this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430-sponsored-yellow-compass-group/160569-paint-your-360-key-red-3.html

It looks really amazing now :)

What I'd like to do next, is to paint the other key red. Unfortunately, paint easily scratches away, but it seems that powder coating is much more resilient.

Hence I was wondering if anyone here knew of a place here in Switzerland that could powder coat the key part red for me?

    Cheers :)

    Dear swiss members,

my wife and I are new to Zürich and already fell in love with this beautiful city.
We like doing short trips to the Cote d'Azur and Italy. Yesterday we had some fun at the Sustenpass with the F12. It was my first pass since 2014 (Stilfser Joch).
The traffic with a lot of bicycles and very slow driven vans was a little bit annoying, but the landscape compensate it.

Every recommendations for nice and twisty roads are welcome.

    Best regards,
    Philipp

Had the car serviced today at Foitek Urdorf. When I picked it up they told me what I already knew, the rear tires need replacing.

Tires are Bridgestone and cost of replacing two rear tires is CHF 490.00 per tire at Foitek. Tires need to be specially ordered and arrive in 6 weeks.

This price sounds reasonable to me. Perhaps I have lived in Switzerland for too long :)

Is there a better option than Foitek? I live close to the German boarder, so can pop over.

If I am only replacing two, then I probably want to stick with Bridgestone?
Pop over the boarder and have a tire shop in Germany replace all four?
Or just have Foitek do it?

You should join the Ferrari Drivers Club for a drive. The next one is in two weeks and we will drive country roads around the Zurich area.

Markus or Remo will lead, and believe me when I say these guys know all the best roads, be it obscure passes or picturesque country roads - with very little traffic, the occasional tractor or a bicycle enthusiast, but other than that, just the Ferrari´s.
