Very helpful John, because I know that fluids sticker has been there since 1986! FWIW your car is not many chassis numbers from mine. Your car also has the white badges, can I trouble you for a close-up of them please? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Same pose - in general the lighter colored cars had black badges and darker colored cars had the white badges, from what I've seen. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe I agree entirely. Roads now compared to say even 15 years ago are vastly different in car volumes and sadly driver skill and alertness. So am I very different being older and slower My everyday car is now an Audi A8 4.2.tdi. 0-60 5.5. 0-100 10.2. Those were super car figures not long ago! It too can run rings round my QV. Mid range with 800nm of torque it is FAST According to those who have driven mine ( including Carlo McCrindle at Topgear who has driven dozens) is one of the fast ones. Could be that 3% extra type. It would be good to for once try and see what it can do top end in the safety of a 1.6 mile runway. Somethings I believe are just orth that wee extra risk! Regards Paul
Sure, Joe. Not brilliant shots, but I hope they give you what you need. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just got few books made in Sweden, that have many local cars in Sweden and factory photos I haven't seen before. I will post them here as soon as I have time.
Thank you Mikael, that is very much appreciated! I visited the factory when it was just a small place where everything was done by hand, those were special times Image Unavailable, Please Login
