Posting a question on behalf of my Dad

As we understand it early examples of the 330GTC(S) were not fitted with an oil cooler, however US dealers did retrofit some cars with an oil cooler before the factory did.

Does anyone have any photos of the retrofitted oil cooler and any insight into the process that was carried out?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Regards

    Matthew

Some of the 330's, GTS included had the oil cooler integrated into the bottom tank of the radiator. M car, 10789 is one of those. Vince

My Dad has asked how your oil coolers are plumbed into the oil system and is there an airconditioning matrix at the front as well (hope I have written down his request correctly while rushing between meetings at work, note to self must teach him how to use the internet properly :) ). I assume he wants to replicate a similar setup on his GTS.

Thanks in advance for any help

    Regards

Matthew, I'll try to get some sort of diagram or description for you of the plumbing. Attached here is a picture of the sticker which was on each of the small coolers.

I think this is a old thread? I am trying to fit the dual oil cooler back in 9949 and not sure if the lines face forward or toward the engine bay? and how the radiator overflow tank fits with it. The books I have are early cars. Some pictures would be really helpful. Thank's
