    Mercedes has been down playing their dominance since the hybrid era started.

    Obvious they like to keep the status quo for as long as possible.

    I bet everybody has switched most of their resources for 2017 since Spain or Canada, including Mercedes as they know that they already have enough margin for error.
    Probably the only ones who still care about 2016 are Honda, as they still have a lot to learn.

    And they can do this because FIA does not allow testing anymore. That is really fouling up the sport.
