Anyone know who made these test pipes I found for my 1995 F355? There are no markings on them anywhere... Appreciate any insight. Peter Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I concur. Not like any I have ever seen. Most Inhave seen are straight pipes thats like a oversided can. How much are they? I hope its a smoken deal
Those appear to be resonators instead of plain straight pipes, similar to these: Ferrari F355 355 2.7 5.2 Bosch Motronic 95-99 Resonated High Flow Cat Test Pipes - Top Speed Pro 1 Performance
Thanks guys. Yeah I haven't purchased them yet. They do have a "resonated" section when you look through them. Its a much smaller resonator than the Top Speed ones or any others that are for sale nowadays. They maybe a custom fabrication, which is fine by me, most people pay $1,000+ for straight pipes (primary cat delete pipes) that could be fabricated for $150-200 dollars. Appreciate the feedback. Given that my current primary cats are gutted I don't think these will provide any more HP increase.
I wouldn't pay much for them. Any exhaust shop could knock those up - though a good one could make them look top notch!
Hopefully they have straight pipes inserted where the matrices used to be. The variation in diameter of a completely gutted converter housing is not at all good for flow.
That's great to know Mike! Should be an improvement then with straight pipes instead of the hollowed out OE cats. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
