For the benefit of myself, my clients, and the community, I’m looking to establish the cost to Classiche Certify an F40 in the USA.

My understanding has come to be that different authorized Ferrari dealers & concessionaires in different parts of the country may have different associated costs, so, I’d be interested to hear what actual costs individual owners have incurred.

It’ll be interesting to establish whether the costs are in fact different, and if so, by how much.

In fact, now that we are on this topic, I would not mind hearing about individual owner’s Classiche expenses for the F40 for Europe & the rest of the world.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Paul.

I hope to get more F40-specific numbers for not only the USA, but Europe & ROW also.

A US spec car that I recently acquired for a client was certified in 2015 for $12,000. The car lived in California most of it's life and was certified in California.

Mine was certified for €6,500 and then I've spent €78,000 at Classiche getting work done including the tanks.

No apparently it cost that to get certified. The fuel tanks were changed as well and maybe that was factored in. But it was the dealer that mentioned it so not sure what was included in it.

    Joe:

I have a couple friends who have had their cars certified. They have all been in the $7,000-$8,000 range. The cars were a 328 and a BBi, so I can't say if the rate fluctuates based on the model. I hope this helps.

I think joe is asking about the specific cost for classiche certification, not the cost to rehabilitate the cars to classiche status.

I have actually now established first-hand that price quoted varies from dealer-to-dealer.

Can someone please post the price list per model? I have seen the price list before at a dealer and this is the amount that Ferrari North America charges for the red book. PLUS each individual dealership charges an amount to take the photos, process the application, etc. This dealership amount varies widely, whereas the Ferrari North America charge is fixed via model type. For my 512 BBi I believe the FNA charge was $4230. My dealership charged another $500 to take photos, etc.

Posting here to remind myself to post updated Classiche Price list tomorrow.

As previously stated though, there is a fixed price from SpA.

Then you have the cost ( as needed ) to become compliant.

And lastly you have the price that the dealer charges to access all the components needed to be photographed for said Classiche. Some are easier to complete than others.
