Agreed. High density and good mix of Ferraris made it fun to watch.

Per the Mecum website, only 16 of 53 Ferraris have sold at this time. The relative lack of eager buyers is reflected in the stagnant inventory at many dealers, too.

This has a much different feel than RM, which was packed with million dollar cars at the start of the auction. More subdued feel in an expansive tent near the golf course. Things should pick up for the LWB Spider and the 550.

It seems like prices are good. Mecum sold a Dino GTS for $325, BBi for around $300K. Am I missing something? Aren't these correct prices? Daytona owners think their cars are worth $1.0 but It seems like they have been selling over the last 4-5 years for around $6-700K. Im impressed with the sale prices, they seem decent. 250PF Cab S-II were so overpriced. They aren't fast, aren;t that attractive, impossible to fit in, they are $800K cars MAX. When they sell for $2.4m, crazy. Same with Lusso, they aren't that great to drive, seem like they shouldn't be $2.0 cars.

 

I hear that the owner of the Lusso was offered 2M for the car and turned it down.
