Looks like he will have one less driver to pass at the start.Yeh i can see Kimi on the podium again! Lewis Hamilton to take a grid demotion at Belgian GP | F1 News In view of this : Max! Kimi Lewis
It only made too much sense...couldn't understand the decision to risk a dnf at Spa and still need to make a change for Monza.
It's not to do that his engine might fail this race or next, it's rather to ensure they didn't need to take another engine at a different track where overtaking is more difficult.
With Hamilton penalised he will be lucky to do any better than 6th. Cannot start last and beat a merc Ferrari or red bull. Nico wins and Hamilton 7th puts them on equal points.
Hamilton is an extremely lucky driver so he will actually probably get a safety car at some point and podium.
Bas you must think Hamilton is better than I do then because I doubt he will finish 4th. Ferrari aren't as slow as we think. Unsure if they are bringing their PU update to spa but their car is still quick in a straight line. Tifosi the weather is very good so unless there's some first corner incidents (likely enough at spa but it won't help ham on the first lap) I don't think he's gonna get a lucky sc
No, he is realistic, 6th is given as the Mercedes can overtake avery car apart from Ferrari and RB with ease...So having a problem or the wrong strategy for only one of the 5 cars in front and he is already 5th... As we know you you are only sangbagging and if Hamilton finishs better than 7th you will tell us how epic it was...Sennaesque...
When he finished 5th or better you'll have your food for the next week to jam down our throats. He is in BY FAR the best car there is. The Ferrari is almost completely undeveloped since Spain. Mercedes has received upgrades on a race by race basis. I recognize that Lewis is not a monumental retard. On a track like this, where it's SO easy to overtake, he has to finish 4th. The Red Bulls will be tougher to overtake.
I have monster energy all over my keyboard. On a side note, I think you are also trying hard to be the good Shepard
I've always had a healthy respect for his talents. I just think he's a first class, lying, deceiving **** who is out there purely for raising awareness of Lewis Hamilton the brand. He plays a very dirty game, trying to be the good kid and simultaneously also not being one (basically Justin Bieber behavior). When he's out of F1 and Bernie's influence doesn't protect him anymore, secrets will come out.
Never experienced "Monster energy", but if it resembles RedBull, your Keyboard is a far better place for it than your mouth.
Hi, What happened to mercedes in FP2 ? They were more than 1 second behind red bull. Was there a problem or were they just having a different program ?
Apparently they decided to save their tyres and spent their time preparing for the race in order to thrash everyone else. Best, Sammy
I'm curious to see where Hamilton finishes. My theory is that the Merc isn't nearly as dominant in dirty air, as it is in clean air. Since Hamilton is going to start at the back of the pack, he's going to struggle to pass the ~6th/7th place cars more so than the true backmarkers. If he gets up to 4th/5th, the struggle will be evident. I may be wrong, but I do think the Merc is much more equal to the Ferrari/Red Bull in dirty air. Come-on, Sunday!
This is Spa. You linger in the shadows, suck yourself close to the gearbox of the car ahead in approach of Bus Stop. And then, voila slipstream all the way down the Kemmel straight. Half of the track where aero isn't really needed. If someone is stubborn a pinch of DRS might help. Overtaking is not really a challenge here. It's more a matter of how rapidly he can work his way through the field.
