    I want to switch to Euro tail light setup setup on my car. I have purchased a rear fog light switch from breaker in AU, part no 180733. It works momentarily, does not switch and stay on. Is that correct?

    I am not 100% certain, but depending on model and year, the rear fog light switch could be a latching type switch or a momentary on type.

    They are relay latched when toggle on. Defaults back to off when you turn off ignition. I use it for engine lid LEDs.

    Hum, that just doesn't seem right for a fog switch. There should be some way to turn off fogs without turning off ignition. My other cars have rear fogs with on and off switches.

    You can turn off by toggling the switch. But the switch is not the energize source for the fog light. It simply latch and unlatch a relay which will defaults to off with ignition off.
