    The knobs on my HVAC control are split. You have to buy the entire control unit from Ferrari @ $3,500. The unit itself works fine but the knobs are ever expanding and will soon split in half. I've searched thee forum and including the cross reference. Any ideas Gentlemen?

    We run into this far more than I care to admit. Often, the tabs that hold them in the panel are broken and gone. Your only real choice is to try and find used or repair. We repair often. If the tabs are broken and missing, a dab of silicone will hold them on the pots in the board.

    I believe they are but never matched them side by side to be 100% certain....

    Are you meaning the knobs are broke where you turn them on the front or on the rear where the tabs are they fit onto the shaft?

    Yes, the 456, 550, 355 are exactly the same. One large in the middle and two smaller ones on the outer sides.

    I have a slightly different problem: the light inside the ON / OFF pushbutton is out
    Is there a way to replace it or what ?

    Isn't this item available at Ricambi? Their catalog shows new ones at $1606. http://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v12/gt-group-2-seat/550-maranello/evaporator-unit-and-controls.html ....pretty easy to install.

    Terry- Yup, just nobody wants to spend $1600 instead of repairing or replacing just the knobs. Trouble is the breakers want to sell the entire panel, too. The sticky guys are the best solution.

    The knobs have cracks on the outside. They function fine just have an unsightly split. It seems a shame that one has to replace the whole unit to get replacement knobs. Thanks for the input thus far guys. At least we know there isn't a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder running around with the same HVAC control unit/knobs. Thanks !

    The light is actually attached to the panel, the switch slides over the bulb. So you will need the bulb re-soldered or replaced in the panel.
